Steamtown National Historic Site - Fees
Fees Steamtown National Historic Site collects two different types of fees: a Park Entrance Fee, and Expanded Amenity Fees (formerly called Specialty Interpretive Fees) for train rides. The Park Entrance Fee ($6.00, all visitors age 17 and older) includes admission to the park grounds, railroad yard, History Museum, Theater, Technology Museum, Roundhouse, Theater programs and walking tours. All children 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while at the Park and aboard train rides and excursions. Listed events and excursions are subject to change without notice, including motive power, dates, times and destinations. Other events may be added. The "Scranton Limited" short train rides are $3.00 per person (all ages 6 and older). Reservations are not available for the "Scranton Limited" or Locomotive Cab Rides. All excursion tickets must be pre-paid (no unpaid reservations). Tickets are non-refundable unless an event is canceled by Park management, and riders cannot attend a make-up date (if applicable). For reservations, please call (570) 340-5204 between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm daily after April 1. Ticket sales and reservations are not available via the Internet or e-mail. IMPORTANT! We cannot accept phone sales on the same day of any excursion. "Walk-up" Boarding Passes may be available at the Ticket & Information Booth, but you should plan to make this type of purchase early in the day. Please understand that, due to limited staffing, you will probably encounter voicemail if you telephone on our excursion dates, and we may not be able to respond to messages until the following day! Thank you for your understanding. |
