Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve - Accessibility

The preserve offers prairie bus tours of the preserve during summer months (May through October). The bus is equipped to accommodate wheelchairs.

The historic limestone ranch house is accessible for wheelchairs through a removable ramp on the backporch of the house. The main floor of the house is accessible through movable ramps. The lower portion of the house is not wheelchair accessible at this time. A photo albumn is available, showing the rooms in the lower portion of the house.

The limestone barn is wheelchair accessible through ramps. The barn is open from May through November, weather permitting.

Handicap parking is available west of the historic limestone barn. Please follow sign up the hill and beyond the barn.
