Little Mill American Fork Campground

Mileage:2 mi
Description: Little Mill Campground is located in American Fork Canyon and is situated next to American Fork River. Popular activities include hiking and fishing. Campground is 1-1/2 miles from Timpanogos Cave National Monument. Off-highway vehicles (rollerblades, bicycles, skate boards and scooters are not allowed in the campground. A per vehicle per day extra vehicle fee will be collected on site. Campers must have a recreation pass before camping. Three-day passes are $6 per vehicle, Seven day passes are $12 per vehicle, and annual passes are $45 per vehicle. Passes are available at entrance stations located on either side of the Alpine Scenic Loop or 3 day passes can be purchased at self service fee tubes located at major trailheads.

Description: Group site with accessible flush restrooms. There is a pavilion with covered firepit and seating area. Tent pads are provided. The site capacity for people will be strictly enforced. Additional persons above the maximum at any time(including those visiting for a meal) will be asked to leave.

Description: Timpooneke Campground is located in a mountainous area next to the Mt. Timpanogos Wilderness. Aspen, spruces and fir trees are the dominant tree species. Drinking water and vault toilets are available. Hiking is a popular activity. No ATV's/OHV's allowed in campground. Campers must have a recreation pass before camping. Three-day passes are $6 per vehicle, Seven day passes are $12 per vehicle, and annual passes are $45 per vehicle. Passes are available at entrance stations located on either side of the Alpine Scenic Loop or 3 day passes can be purchased at self service fee tubes located at major trailheads.

Description: Granite Flat Campground is located in aspen, douglas fir, spruce and pine trees and is close to Lone Peak Wilderness. Tibble Fork and Silver Flat Reservoirs are close and offer good fishing. The nearest telephone is five miles away. Popular activities include hiking, fishing, visiting Timpanogos Cave and viewing wildlife. No all-terrain or off-highway vehicles allowed in the campground. An extra vehicle fee will be collected per vehicle per day on site. Campers must have a recreation pass before camping. Three-day passes are $6 per vehicle, Seven day passes are $12 per vehicle, and annual passes are $45 per vehicle. Campers must have a recreation pass before camping. Three-day passes are $6 per vehicle, Seven day passes are $12 per vehicle, and annual passes are $45 per vehicle. Passes are available at entrance stations located on either side of the Alpine Scenic Loop or 3 day passes can be purchased at self service fee tubes located at major trailheads. Please check-in with host at Mt. Timpanogos Campground to gain access to Theater in the Pines. The site capacity for people will be strictly enforced. Additional persons above the maximum at any time (including those visiting for a meal) will be asked to leave. Additional vehicles will be charged a per day extra vehicle fee.

Tanners Flat Campground

Mileage:9 mi
Description: Mountains, wilderness, pine and aspen trees, elevation 7200 feet. Weather changes quickly, expect thunderstorms and cool nights. Stocked fishing in Little Cottonwood Creek. There is a volleyball court available and numerous hiking trails in the vicinity. Spectacular wildflower viewing is available nearby at Albion Basin from mid to late July through August. There are disabled access sites available. Bring your own sports equipment (net, ball, etc.) Golden Passport discounts do not apply to sites with a capacity of 13 people or more or to extra vehicles. Space is very limited. Do NOT expect to be able to find a site that will accommodate a big rig! Check the site lengths! There is very limited space available for extra parking. Please note the maximum number of vehicles allowed for the site and plan accordingly

Albion Basin Campground

Description: Albion Basin is located in Little Cottonwood Canyon, in a mountain area with pine and aspen trees at an elevation of 9,500 feet. Weather can change quickly and you should expect thunderstorms. There is a campground host on site. Restrooms and drinking water are provided. First come, first serve sites available. The area is renowned for the stunning beauty of the wildflowers in mid-to-late July and August. It is also known for its unusual geology. Parking is limited.

Deer Creek Group Areas Campground

Description: Deer Creek Reservoir lies in the southwest corner of beautiful Heber Valley, at the base of towering Mount Timpanogos. Its cool waters provide some of Utah's finest year-round fishing. Predictable canyon winds make Deer Creek extremely popular for boating, wind surfing, sunbathing, swimming and sailboating. The park offers campgrounds for individual and group camping, and four group day-use areas. Wallsburg Bay, located at the southeastern end of the reservoir, is exclusively for group-use camping. East Pavilion, Center Pavilion, and West Pavilion may be reserved individually or together. Group day-use facilities are available at Sailboat Beach, Petersen, Island, and Rainbow Bay. A concessionaire provides a restaurant, boat rentals, gasoline, and sundries.
