Habitat

Feeding

Eat mostly mammals from rabbit to mouse size.Ground squirrels are a major staple of their diet during summer. Hunts from a perch or while soaring then swoops or dives to make the attack Toes fully extend just before grabbing prey then snap shut with contact.
