Timpanogos Cave National Monument - Peregrine Falcon![]() Habitat Nests near water on high cliff ledges on every continent except Antarctica. Feeding Dives on avian prey from high speed stoops of up to 180mph. After striking its prey, it either retrieves the bird in midair or recovers it on the ground, then brings it to a perch and plucks the feathers before eating.
