However, Bossier Parish maintains Ivan Lake on 520 acres of reservoir lands. A major waterfowl and upland game management and hunting area is open to the public. There is an accessible (wheelchairs) hiking trail available and an environmental education center. Directions: Fromn Shreveport, LA, 20 miles East on I-20, then North on LA 157 to Bellevue, 2 miles North on a county road.
