Patoka Lake

Description:

Patoka Lake: two pairs of bald eagles established nests during the spring of 1992 through 1997. A fresh-water jellyfish (the size of a quarter), an indicator of a very pure and clean ecosystem, may be seen from time to time in the reservoir.

Located approximately 65 miles west of Louisville, KY, the major recreation area is west of the intersection of IN 64 and 145.
