The lake is proud to host the 30-mile Perry Lake National Recreational Hiking Trail, renowned for its rugged terrain. Hikers will enjoy the scenic beauty of the 30-mile National Recreation Trail which follows the eastern shoreline. From Topeka 17 mi NE on US 24 to Perry.

Directions:

From Topeka take US 24 Hwy east 17 miles to Perry. Turn left on Ferguson Road north of Perry for about 2 miles. Turn left at 39th Street (Spillway Road) and travel about 1 mile, then turn right on Perry Park Drive. The brick building on the right is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers information center.

Characterized by rugged beauty, this steep mountain range is filled with jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and glaciers. North Cascades National Park Service Complex contains the heart of this mountainous region in three park units which are all managed as one and include North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas.
