Valley Forge National Historical Park - Accessibility

The Welcome Center and the theater have universal access. Washington"s Headquarters and the Muhlenberg Brigade huts are accessible via a paved path, but only the kitchen of Washington"s Headquarters is accessible by wheelchair. There are four steps leading to the first floor of the headquarters.

A free wheelchair is available upon request at the Welcome Center. The 18-minute film is captioned and assistance for the hearing impaired is available in our theater. All restrooms are wheelchair accessible throughout the park. The Joseph Plumb Martin trail is paved and accessible, but there are several steep hills on this path.
