Home > Weir Farm > Park Info > Plants and Wildlife > Black Swallowort

Black swallowort is native to southwestern Europe. It is an incredibly difficult plant to remove due to its ability to produce several shoots from underground buds attached to the parent plant. In one square meter of full sun 2090 seeds can be produced, and one seed can generate multiple seedlings.
