Boulder Lake Recreation Site

Description:

This campground is on the southern shore of Boulder Lake. There is access into the Bridger Wilderness here, great fishing, and plenty of big game in the fall. This is a free site with 4 rustic camping sites, a double vault toilet, barbeque grills, five picnic tables, and an undeveloped boat launch site. 14 day stay limit. This site is near historic trails. Please do not collect or damage these resources.

Directions:

Site is located 11 miles south of Pinedale on US 191, then 7 miles north on Burnt Lake Rd. From US 91 travel 2 miles east on WY353 and 10 miles north on gravel road to the boat ramp.

Featured Wildlife
The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
