Agate Fossil Beds National Monument Camping

The park does not have camping resources available; however, there are camp grounds within the region. Fort Robinson State Park, located near Crawford, Nebraska, has camping facilities. Other areas to camp in the region include the Nebraska National Forest near Chadron and Toadstool park north of Harrison.

Eastern Egg Rock in the midcoast region, Seal Island and Matinicus Rock at the mouth of Penobscot Bay, and Machias Seal Island and Petit Manan Island off the downeast coast provide habitat for more than 4,000 puffins each summer.
