Craters Of The Moon National Monument and Preserve Camping

There is a 52 site campground among the lava formations beyond the visitor center. Campsites are available on a first come, first served basis. Self register at the campground (no reservations) for the campsite of your choice.

The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
