Product Description
Float 22 Airbag Backpack by Backcountry Access
The Backcountry Access Float 22 Airbag is BCA's medium-sized pack, designed for morning tours and extended through-the-gates adventures. The Float 2. 0 airbag system uses a compressed air cylinder to almost instantly inflate a 150L airbag that helps keep you at or near the surface of a slide in order to minimize evacuation time and blunt force trauma from debris and hidden obstacles. Backcountry Access also has the world's most extensive network of cylinder refill and exchange centers, making it easier for you to get a new compressed air cylinder after you have to deploy your airbag. The Float 22 features enough volume to stash your climbing skins, snacks, an extra layer, and, of course, all the avalanche safety essentials. In fact, it has dedicated shovel and probe sleeves so you can quickly access your avalanche rescue tools. A diagonal ski carry holds your planks when you have to boot pack, and BCA also offers a snowboard carry attachment (sold separately) for the snow surfers.
