The Plinko Carbon Splitboarding Pole feels light and sturdy on the ascent and tucked out of the way for the descent. It's an ultralight fully collapsible pole that we made specifically for splitboarders. Carbon keeps the weight at a minimum and Komperdell's Powerlock 3. 0 adjustment system keeps the pole at whatever length you want. We also appreciate an extended grip to keep us moving up switchbacks and technical terrain with ease. For the baskets we used Komperdell's regular ultralight winter basket for better floatation in powder and they adjust in angle to accommodate varying steepnesses.
