The 9. 4 Dry Climbing Rope is Black Diamond's skinniest line designed for demanding sport and traditional rock climbs. Its skinny diameter maintains a light weight and a supple feel ideal for long multi-pitches, wandering routes, and difficult approaches. It's easier to pack and lighter on your back, compared to other climbing ropes in Black Diamond's sport and trad series. This rope is also one of the skinniest ropes still featuring Black Diamond's 2x2 woven sheath which enhances durability without disrupting the fluid feel that reduces rope drag. Black Diamond treated both the core and sheath to eliminate water absorption according to UI's standards.

Rising above a scene rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, and alpine terrain, the Teton Range stands monument to the people who fought to protect it. The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
