Product Description
Mutant Climbing Shoe by Boreal
Boreal's Mutant Climbing Shoe is a freak of nature on any climb from slabby boulders to technical, overhung sport routes. Its Lateral Torsion System influences a highly asymmetric shape with a sharp downturn that sticks to microscopic edges and straight-up slab without a problem. The premium split leather upper features Boreal's new Friction Skin over the toe, which applies a thin rubber to give a good grip on toe hooks that won't interfere with the shoe's flexibility. Zenith's grippy rubber is thicker below the toe and thinner in the middle to give a greater flex, and the anti-formation midsole ensures long-lasting quality.

The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
