Sceptre Splitboard by Chimera Backcountry Snowboards
The Chimera Sceptre Splitboard slices through any snow condition so you can tour the backcountry with the same board whether it's a powder day or an icy one. Its NoWave, directional freestyle profile lies flat underfoot to lengthen the board's effective edge for quicker turn initiations and solid edging on firmer snow. Alternatively, early rises in the tip and tail initiate float when you're cruising soft, deep powder. To keep things light, Chimera built the Scepter with three-axis carbon stringers to assure proper flex without weighing you down. These carbon stringers also help on the skin track by adding a snappy reaction at every kick turn. The topsheet sheds snow and ice to keep weight off your board, and the Safety Base stays bright and visible for extra safety in the backcountry. There are clips and hooks to keep the board's halves together for the ride down.

Rising above a scene rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, and alpine terrain, the Teton Range stands monument to the people who fought to protect it. These are mountains of the imagination. Mountains that led to the creation of Grand Teton National Park where you can explore over two hundred miles of trails, float the Snake River or enjoy the serenity of this remarkable place.
The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
