De Marchi's overall objective with its new Softshell Jacket was to make an outer shell that would provide protection from the elements in a stretchy, streamlined, and detail-packed design. The result of its effort checks all these boxes, and it does so in true Italian style that only De Marchi could successfully pull off. For the construction of the Softshell, De Marchi used its proprietary ThermaShield 3L fabric. This material provides a triple layer of protection against the elements. The exterior of the fabric is water-resistant, which is further reinforced by a windproof membrane. At the interior, ThermaShield features a medium loft that provides a fleecy comfort of warmth. Just as importantly, though, this textured liner works to efficiently pull moisture away from the layers underneath. And as a result, your torso and arms remain dry and warm from the inside out. As with all De Marchi apparel, the Softshell Jacket was made to provide maximum freedom of movement while riding. Its anatomical fit was made possible using pre-shaped fabric panels that closely follow the body while in motion. When sewn together, these panels form somewhat of a three dimensional shape on their own, mimicking the body before even reaching your shoulders. The result is a jacket that eliminates all unnecessary material, leading to the best fit possible. De Marchi also spent considerable time focusing on the jacket's finishing details. You'll notice the jacket features a tall collar and subtle drop-tail hem, both of which work to provide added coverage from the elements. A small chest pocket and full-length zipper round out the front, and two side-zip-access pockets line the rear. The De Marchi Softshell Jacket - Men's is available in six sizes from X-Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black and Grey.

The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
