Spartan Carbon 27.5 Mountain Bike Frame by DeVinci
Dialed in on enduro tracks across the globe and ready to tackle your favorite singletrack comes DeVinci's Spartan Carbon 27. 5 Mountain Bike Frame. Built to inspire confidence on burly terrain with its 6. 5-inches of terrain-taming Split Pivot suspension and geometry honed from feedback of its team riders, this bike is ready to slay. The Spartan is consistently a leader in the 27. 5-wheeled enduro category and this most recent generation evolves with a redesigned frame that increases stiffness and tire clearance, as well as refined geometry that improves stability when the trail points downward. DeVinci gives this new Spartan a full carbon frame that helps improves stiffness and responsiveness for excellent handling and suspension performance. DeVinci takes frame stiffness a step further by making the transition to Super Boost 12 x 157mm rear spacing. Before you might balk at the thought of a new hub standard, 157mm hub spacing has been around on downhill bikes for a number of years. Super Boost simply widens the hub flange to improve the spoke bracing angle, resulting in a much stiffer wheel that's better able to resist lateral flex while cornering, braking, and charging through technical terrain. In addition to the stiffness benefits, Super Boost allows DeVinci to keep the chainstays super short while still clearing a 27. 5 x 2. 6-inch tire and up to a 38t front chainring, pretty impressive numbers that give you a wide range of rubber and gearing options. DeVinci is well known for its use of a Split Pivot rear suspension. Designed by suspension guru Dave Weagle, Split Pivot is comprised of a main pivot and a concentric rear axle pivot separated by the chainstay (hence the name Split Pivot), as well as the brake link (seatstay) that floats between a rocker link and the concentric rear pivot. The floating brake link sets Split Pivot apart from other suspension designs by its ability to isolate braking forces from acceleration and suspension forces, resulting in...

The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
