Impact High Cycling Shoe - Men's by Five Ten
Five Ten Impact shoes are designed from to bottom to top to protect and serve freeriders and DH aficionados. Five Ten's top-shelf freeride shoe is built for guys who go huge, so it's designed to make taking risks a little less risky by keeping freeriders both attached to their bikes and protected from it. The impact is based around Five Ten's legendary Stealth rubber. Stealth is soft and pliable to grip pedals and keep guys on flats on their flats. The tread pattern, a classic dimple pattern, was specifically designed to help with this job. The Impact also employs a stiff midsole shank for pedal power and protection. Speaking of protection, anyone who has spent time riding DH can appreciate the Impact's protective rubber toe caps. The Impact also sports a high cut at the cuffs to protect your ankles from your pedals and crankarms during the inevitable bail.

Eastern Egg Rock in the midcoast region, Seal Island and Matinicus Rock at the mouth of Penobscot Bay, and Machias Seal Island and Petit Manan Island off the downeast coast provide habitat for more than 4,000 puffins each summer.
