Product Description
Recess Snowboard - Kids' by Gnu
The Gnu Recess snowboard takes design ques and the same technologies from it's older brothers and sisters for all-mountain fun and park finesse. A medium flex and Original Banana profile allows for easy-going riding anywhere and everywhere, whether you're learning to ride or sliding on boxes and rails. The Original Banana profile consists of a rocker zone between the bindings for added float and forgiveness, while mild camber zones from under the feet to the tips provide pop and improved edge hold. An asymmetrical sidecut improves heelside response so you can make confident turns on both edges, and Magne-Traction increases the edge length for added grip on ice and hardpack. A paulownia wood core keeps things lightweight for buttering and spinning off jumps in the park, while a blend of triax and biax fiberglass offers a smooth and predictable flex. Finally, the extruded base absorbs wax well, is easy to repair, and requires little maintenance to keep going fast.
