Roc Nordic GTX Pro Jacket - Men's by Haglofs
If you're looking to check some mountaineering sized backcountry lines off of your hit list every winter, then you know how important it is to have gear that keeps you dry no matter what. The Roc Nordic GTX Pro Jacket implements a top-tier Gore-Tex laminate for premium waterproofing that remains breathable when you need to tackle a steep bootpack mid-blizzard. The helmet-compatible hood is three-way adjustable to further seal out nasty weather both on the ascent and the descent. The 3L shell construction is highly compliant to move with you as you navigate technical cruxes, transition to your gear for the descent, and of course shred all-time powder on the way back to the trailhead. Lastly, integrated underarm vents are specifically placed to function seamlessly with backpack straps for ease of use when you're on the final summit push.

Eastern Egg Rock in the midcoast region, Seal Island and Matinicus Rock at the mouth of Penobscot Bay, and Machias Seal Island and Petit Manan Island off the downeast coast provide habitat for more than 4,000 puffins each summer.
