Hydra Enduro 305 27.5in Super Boost 157 Wheelset by Industry Nine
If you live for the chunkiest trails and you make it a mission to link up as many black diamond trails on a ride as possible, the Hydra Enduro 305 27. 5in Super Boost 157 Wheelset from Industry Nine is for you. It offers the strength and reliability for gnarly high-speed descents, ledgy technical climbs, and everything in between. I9 laces its super high-engagement Hydra hubs to its Enduro 305 aluminum hoops, creating a sturdy wheelset with an instant pedal response that tames any trail. Factor in Industry Nine's precision machining and attention to detail and all of this burly construction doesn't carry an excessive weight penalty so you won't be held back on the climbs and epic backwoods days. Additionally, this particular wheelset uses Super Boost 157mm rear hub spacing, ensuring compatibility with the increasing number of aggressive trail bikes that use this wider and stiffer rear axle standard. The Hydra hubs build on Industry Nine's previous drive system, featuring a 6-pawl design like the Torch hubs, but the drive ring is boosted up to 115 teeth as opposed to the 60-tooth design found on Torch. The pawls are also independently phased, engaging in procession as the axle rotates, resulting in an unheard of 690 points of engagement with just 0. 52-degrees between each engagement point. While this provides a near-telepathic response when you apply force to the pedals, one of the primary benefits is increased durability. With the Hydra's independently phased system, you have one leading pawl that starts to take the load from pedaling, but because the pawls are phased close together and the tooth count is so high, as soon as you apply torque to the system a second, third, and sometimes even a fourth pawl start taking some of the load to disperse the force more evenly. Basically, Hydra uses the inherent flex in the drive system to ensure that a single pawl will never take the full load, minimizing wear and tear on the freehub body and drive-side bearings. In or...

The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
