We are rebels. We are renegades. We are revolutionaries that don't like to be told what we can or can't do, and limited by frilly bikes that pack in dumbed-down technology that insult our hard-charging demeanor, and neither do the designers at Juliana Bicycles. We know this from the brand's ever progressive lineup of bikes that are fitted with all of the bells and whistles we need to go fast, and push hard, and the Maverick Carbon CC Mountain Bike Frame enters into the lineup this year just to make sure you don't forget it. The Maverick offers progressive geometry built to handle high speed descents, plus flip-chip technology for spinning around on a dime to earn your turns. It's 29-inch wagon wheels speed through technical climbs with ease, and pair up with deep 140mm travel in the rear for ear-to-ear grins on rocky and rowdy descents. Lower-link suspension keeps your center of gravity lower, boosting stability to improve handling when you're pushing it hard through rough and technical descents, and pairs up with Juliana's signature shock tune that softens things up just a touch to accommodate lighter weight riders. The Maverick is built to eat up obstacles with its 29-inch wagon wheels and deep, 140mm of VPP suspension. Unlike the upper-link driven design, you'll experience better support, and higher levels of traction for all-mountain and gravity oriented disciplines. This model employs a RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock that is dialed with an immense amount of tune-ability, so you can set things up exactly how you want it, optimizing small bump compliance for traction on the climbs, and eating up bounders and greasy roots on the race back to the bottom. Maine ocean islands provide the only nesting sites for Atlantic puffins in the United States. Eastern Egg Rock in the midcoast region, Seal Island and Matinicus Rock at the mouth of Penobscot Bay, and Machias Seal Island and Petit Manan Island off the downeast coast provide habitat for more than 4,000 puffins each summer.
