When you think about winter you think about freshly groomed, high speeds, and arcing turns on firm, fast snow, and then you picture yourself as the pilot of the Kastle Men's MX89 Ski and smile. This ski is happiest when it's carving GS-worthy turns on firm, sparkling runs, but the 89-millimeter waist can certainly handle a bit of variability as well. The traditional camber and flat tail locks you into each turn and provides an impressive edge hold in firm snow, while the fiberglass and Titanal sandwich the vibration-dampening wood core to provide a stiff, powerful ride at high speeds. Vertical sidewalls finish off this quick, tidy package, keeping the ski torsionally stiff to give you quick power transfer from edge to edge.
