Lightweight, nimble, and efficient, the Kastle TX 82 Ski is the perfect tool for backcountry travel when the snow might not be deep but the stoke is still high. At 82mm underfoot, it's the most agile ski in the Kastle collection, and it'll nail steep, icy pitches with stability and control. Early rise in the shovel is forgiving and playful even in the crud, with standard camber underfoot in order to drive quick and precise turns in those variable conditions. A unique construction is the key to Kastle's stellar performance on the slopes. At its heart lies a karuba wood core, keeping the TX82 lightweight on long tours, and it's wrapped in fiberglass for increased torsional strength when you're working your way down narrow chutes and steep descents. Carbon stringers add strength and power, for unbeatable downhill performance without excess weight. At the tip lies Kastle's Hollowtech 2. 0 design, where unneeded material is removed from the ski, creating a damper, more stable stick that also benefits from a lighter swing weight.

Rising above a scene rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, and alpine terrain, the Teton Range stands monument to the people who fought to protect it. The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
