Instead of a normal climbing sling, the Mammut Alpine Trad Sling is a single strand that reduces weight and space to your climbing kit. You can wear it around your chest like a normal sling, with the included carabiner clipped to the stitched loops at both ends, and you can still extend pieces and make anchors just as easily as normal slings. The only difference is a reduced weight and a minimalist feel.
