The polyester ripstop fabric is lightweight and durable, and an added DWR coating resists water to protect from light rains. the loft and warm 700-fill down insulation is combined with a Down Defender treatment to help prevent it from getting soaked and losing it's heat retention properties. Two zippered handwarmer pockets give them a place to warm their digits, and elastic cuffs help seal out wind to keep them extra toasty.
