Wildcat Tour 108 Alpine Touring Ski by Moment
Moment never takes a moment away from tinkering with the beloved Wildcat Ski. First there was the resort-friendly Wildcat, then the Wildcat Tour took backcountry skiers by storm, and now the Wildcat Tour 108 Ski presents a skinnier option for a versatile person on varieties of snow. Its 108mm waist is still a floaty choice for pow days, but it's also skinnier enough to handle solid turns down firmer snow too. Moment made the Wildcat Tour out of a poppier paulownia core to decrease each ski by a pound or two. In order to make up the stiffness, Moment added carbon stringers to ensure the same feel as the original Wildcat. This light construction ended up being so light that Moment was able to add durable sidewalls while keeping a backcountry-friendly weight, which is something that most backcountry skis lack. Add rockers at the tip and tail, and you can keep your tips up while cruising through deep powder much easier.

Maine ocean islands provide the only nesting sites for Atlantic puffins in the United States. Eastern Egg Rock in the midcoast region, Seal Island and Matinicus Rock at the mouth of Penobscot Bay, and Machias Seal Island and Petit Manan Island off the downeast coast provide habitat for more than 4,000 puffins each summer.
