Its frameless floorless design is easy to set up with the included stakes and one of our ski poles or trekking poles if it's summertime. It can be a shelter for sleep a sun shade against mid-day sunshine or a dining room for sussing beta and eating dinner with the whole crew. We also like pairing the Front Range with MSR's Front Range Bug/Floor Insert (sold separately) for greater coverage from buggy muddy environments.
