Product Description
Andermatt Pant - Women's by Ortovox
Break away from the crowds and head into the backcountry for some fresh, untouched turns in the Ortovox Andermatt Pant. Its waterproof and windproof membrane keeps you protected from the elements while its highly breathable nature helps prevent you from getting cold and wet on strenuous ascents. If on the ascents, or descents for that matter, you are really pushing it, side ventilation zippers open to dump your excess heat to keep you comfortable so you can push on to the next summit. Merino inserts in the knees and seat add light padding and warmth for more comfortable rest periods while integrated gaiters seal out the fresh snow when you're bootpacking. In addition to the two hip pockets, the Andermatt has a zippered thigh pocket that has a lightweight carabiner to accommodate an avalanche transceiver so you can be prepared when you head into the backcountry.

Maine ocean islands provide the only nesting sites for Atlantic puffins in the United States. Eastern Egg Rock in the midcoast region, Seal Island and Matinicus Rock at the mouth of Penobscot Bay, and Machias Seal Island and Petit Manan Island off the downeast coast provide habitat for more than 4,000 puffins each summer.
