As simple as they appear, socks can often make or break a ride. From slightly irritating to downright painful, investing in some good socks are an inexpensive way to help ensure happy feet as you spin away the miles. Pearl Izumi's Elite Socks combine a precise fit and performance fabrics creating an advanced sock that looks great. The socks are constructed from Elite Transfer material which wicks away moisture allowing your feet to stay dry and better able to regulate temperatures. Excessive moisture leads to clammy feet when its cold out or blisters in the heat. On the toe, the seam is completely flat preventing pressure or irritation at the always critical toe box/foot interface. One last feature is the anatomic arch compression that provides foot support for long hours of pushing watts through the pedals. The top of the foot gets mesh ventilation helping the feet breathe and providing a low-volume fit in the shoe. Standard cuff height provides just the right amount of coverage for the ankles. The Pearl Izumi Elite Socks are available in six colors and come in sizes Medium through X-Large.

The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
