Product Description
Alpha Three 20in Bike - Kids' by Prevelo Bikes
Your rider is starting to test their limits, so Prevelo designed the geometry of the Alpha Three 20-inch Complete Bike to keep them low to the ground for a onfidence boost. Since kids' bikes have less clearance by nature, the Shimano Smart Cage enables the pulley cage to be farther from the ground, reducing the odds of impacting the derailleur without minimizing the usable gear range. Prevelo cranks are customized for each bike, so your kiddo can enjoy an efficient pedal experience. To maximize their efficiency, 8 gears set them up to learn what gear they should be in for different terrain without over-complicating the process. Shimano's Acera RapidFire Plus levers are designed for smaller hands that may struggle with twist shifters, and the Alpha Three is also equipped with Tektro brake levers that make controlling the V-brakes, and therefore the speed, easy.
