Weighing just over a pound and made with an eVent shell, the Rab Ascent Bivy will keep you dry on unplanned nights out or ultralight trips, even when the weather is some of the worst you'll encounter. The 3-layer eVent membrane repels wind, rain, sleet, and snow, but is also air permeable, which allows perspiration and moisture vapor to escape the ePTFE membrane, so you stay dry from both the inside and out. Rab gave the Ascent a wide sleeping bag profile to accommodate sleeping bags of all shapes and sizes, and added a removable no-see-um mesh zip door so you can let off a little steam or take a peak to see what that noise on the edge of camp (don't worry, it's probably just a bear).

Rising above a scene rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, and alpine terrain, the Teton Range stands monument to the people who fought to protect it. These are mountains of the imagination. Mountains that led to the creation of Grand Teton National Park where you can explore over two hundred miles of trails, float the Snake River or enjoy the serenity of this remarkable place.
The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
