Taking design cues from traditional mountaineering boots, the Rome Guide SRT Snowboard Boot is designed to be a supportive freeride boot to take you to new peaks and ride gnarly terrain. The stiff flex offers instant response and increased support for riding big lines while staying in complete control. A combination of traditional lacing and a side Boa HeelLock harness closure provides not only a customizable fit, but also heel-hold retention to prevent heel lift. The Ultralon F. I. T. liner is Rome's most plush and comfortable liner, designed to heat-mold to every contour of your foot while providing you with impact absorption and AEGIS to prevent odors. To make your boots and bindings work together flawlessly, an ASYM PTU backstay is added to assist in natural power transfer. To finish it all off, the GripLite Outsole with Vibram ICETREK 2 gives traction in any and all snow conditions, from hiking up the ridgeline in powder to walking up the park in spring slush.
