5010 Carbon 27.5+ R Mountain Bike by Santa Cruz Bicycles
The evolution of riding has come along with some leaps and bounds that make for bigger demands from yourself and your bike on the trail. Rocky descents that challenge DH bikes of years long past now litter nearly every trail network, and Santa Cruz's third generation of 5010 Carbon 27. 5+ R Complete Mountain Bike is eager to tame them. This all-mountain trail steed challenges the sum of its numbers with 130mm of titular VPP suspension to soak up rocks and roots, while stubby short chainstays keep pedaling lively for hammering back up to the top. While it saw a redesign last year over its V2, all was not lost. Santa Cruz maintained the 5010's responsive and playful handling, while stretching the geometry out with a slacker head tube that expands the bike's confidence on the steep descents, plus an added flip-chip is added in to allow you to tailor the geometry for your riding style, and bounce back and forth from 2. 3 - to -2. 8-inch tires with ease, so you can reduce that rolling resistance on race day, or buck up the traction when summer gets hot, dusty, and loose. The v3 5010's headtube is slacker than ever, kicking back to a 66. 5-degree head tube angle in its high setting and a more DH-friendly 66. 1-degree head tube angle in the lowest setting. The inclusion of the flip-chip allows for this subtle change giving you the ability to tune the bike's geometry for different terrain and riding styles. Looking to hit the lifts or shuttle and let gravity assist your day's riding' Go low. Planning on knocking out that 6-hour pedal fest deep into the woods you and your buddies have planned out for a bit' Go high, and you'll be treated with a bike that pedals well and doesn't flinch in the face of technical trail problems on steep, rowdy terrain. As noted above, the flip-chip not only allows you to ride with a couple of geo options, it also provides the clearance needed to run wider tires up to 2. 8 inches in width. Santa Cruz outfits this particular 5010 with their...

The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
