Product Description
5010 Carbon CC GX Eagle Mountan Bike by Santa Cruz Bicycles
We're a fan of versatility on the mountain, and while there are plenty of beefy enduro rigs that claim to rule the gravity world, we find it unusual for them to actually tick all of the boxes. Trail bikes, on the other hand, tend to offer a bit more of a lively feel, with quick pedaling power that makes them much more enjoyable to ride on most types of trails. Santa Cruz's do-it-all 5010 trail bike is among the best of the best when it comes to short-travel trail bikes--agile enough to make quick work of tight singletrack, yet confident enough to tackle high-speed downhill trails. Add in the pedaling efficiency that's appreciated on all-day epics in the backcountry, and you end up with the 3rd generation 5010, truly a rig you can show up with on any trail and know you have the right tool for the job. The third-generation 5010 is plenty slack, offering up a 66. 5-degree head tube angle in its high geometry setting and a more gravity-friendly 66. 1-degree head tube angle in the lowest setting. The flip-chip in the linkage makes this all possible, meaning you'll have the ability to adapt the bike's geometry for different terrain and riding styles, whether you're seeking a bit more balanced feel with greater efficiency and climbing competency or you'd like it to flat out rip those steep descents with imposing rocks and roots threatening to derail your balance. Other geometry figures include a comfortable and roomy front-center, along with a 75-degree seat tube angle that puts you in a comfy pedaling position when it's time to rack up the miles. As you'd expect with the 5010, it retains the exceptional pedaling efficiency and playful suspension feel we've come to expect from this legendary steed. This VPP configuration neatly tucks the lower link above the bottom bracket to prevent rock strikes and damage from flinging trail debris. The upper portion remains attached to the top tube with a stiffer box-section upper link. It's spec'd with a FOX DPX2 Float Performance ...

The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
