Whether we are looking for an all-out enduro race bike or a mini downhill bike the Santa Cruz Megatower is an excellent choice when we need a ride that can do it all. With 165mm of VPP suspension the Megatower lives to blast down the steepest of descents and is still efficient enough to climb back up and do it all over again. Size-specific chainstays ensure a balanced and stable platform for all frame sizes and a new steeper seat tube angle averaging 77. 5 degrees puts us in the perfect position to climb efficiently. The Megatower has a slack 63. 8-degree head tube angle that instills loads of confidence when bombing downhill and keeps our front wheel out in front of us which helps to keep us from feeling like we are going to go over the bars. Other notable features of the latest version of the Megatower include a Glovebox frame storage to keep all our ride essentials in the downtube of the frame and integrated downtube and chainstay protectors to keep our frame protected from rocks and chain slap. Additionally a Shuttle guard on the top of the downtube allows us to through our bike in the back of our truck bed without worrying about scratching our frame and the integrated rear shock fender keeps mud and dirt away from our shock for a cleaner suspension.*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic material weight and exact components are subject to change.
