Not only is the Men's Phantom 8000 Mountaineering Boot the warmest in Scarpa's selection, but it's also the most sensitive and one of the lightest options. Despite its lightness, the Phantom 8000 delivers a burly construction with a gaiter made from waterproof, breathable OutDry material, while the Cordura shell affixes long-lasting durability. Scarpa added EVA padding and natural cork inserts to the shell for customized comfort. The Phantom 8000 also features a removable liner made of multi-layer EVA and Primaloft 600 insulation. Reflective aluminum strips around the removable liner add warmth and odor-resistance. Underfoot, the Phantom 8000 features Vibram's Zero Gravity Lite rubber sole that delivers optimal traction with the least amount of weight. The microporous midsole makes the boot surprisingly sensitive. Scarpa made the footbed out of dual-layer foam with a stiff carbon fiber insert that grants all the stability and support you need for the longest missions, without adding any weight. The Phantom 8000 Mountaineering Boot is compatible with step-in crampons for technical ascents.

Rising above a scene rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, and alpine terrain, the Teton Range stands monument to the people who fought to protect it. These are mountains of the imagination. Mountains that led to the creation of Grand Teton National Park where you can explore over two hundred miles of trails, float the Snake River or enjoy the serenity of this remarkable place.
The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
