When a powder day rolls through all you need are your skis, headphones, and the Scott Vertic GTX 3L Jacket. Scott's most technical freeride jacket, the Vertic boasts a burly three-layer construction with a Gore-Tex membrane for waterproof protection and breathable comfort. Fully taped seams enhance waterproofing by preventing moisture from seeping through when you're plowing through the deeps. In case you get too warm in your pursuit of fresh flakes, Scott hooked the Vertic up with long zippers under each arm for sufficient ventilation. The powder skirt detaches so the jacket can connect to Scott's compatible pants, just in case there's too much powder for the skirt to handle. There are adjustments at the cuffs, hem, and helmet-compatible hood to seal out snow, and internal wrist gaiters with thumbholes enhance coverage and comfort.

Rising above a scene rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, and alpine terrain, the Teton Range stands monument to the people who fought to protect it. These are mountains of the imagination. Mountains that led to the creation of Grand Teton National Park where you can explore over two hundred miles of trails, float the Snake River or enjoy the serenity of this remarkable place.
The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
