Product Description
Lite 209 Carbon Rail Saddle - Men's by Selle SMP
The Lite 209 Carbon Rail Saddle, like all of Selle SMP's saddles, goes about adding comfort to your ride by addressing excessive pressure at the perineum region, as it uses the Italian brand's innovative shaping to keep you comfortable, supported, and pressure-free while racing, training, or simply riding. The Lite 209 Carbon is best suited for cyclists with average-width pelvises who's pant waist size is in the 32 to 37-inch range and those that favor a significant amount of padding. At the nose, there's the characteristic "beak" shape designed to provide a flat base while sitting, without excessive pressure on soft tissue. SMP's pronounced central channel is also incorporated, which further reduces pressure on the pudendal nerve and surrounding soft tissue. The back of the saddle is raised for an enhanced seated pedaling position, where body weight is divided between the rear and lower part of the ischial tuberosity, or sit bone region. This shape also helps reduce overall pressure on the tailbone while riding over rough surfaces. The saddle's foam elastomer padding gets wrapped in soft, hard-wearing leather and covers a nylon/carbon composite shell that rides on lightweight and strong carbon fiber rails, ensuring a secure perch that'll hold up to road, tri, and mountain applications. The Selle SMP Lite 209 Carbon is available in one size, 273 x 139mm, comes in the color Black, is handmade in Italy, and has a claimed weight of 280 grams.

The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
