The front derailleur just got a whole lot better. So much better, in fact, that we hereby officially forgive it for all of the grief that it has caused us over the years. The Shimano XTR Di2 FD-M9070 Front Derailleur eliminates the myriad of shifting woes that have always accompanied the front derailleur and transformed it into a joy to operate and maintain. With proper installation, you can forget about dropped chains forever. Shifting also becomes quicker, easier, and more precise. Even the woes of chain-rub will become just a dark memory. All of this is achieved with a 25% increase in power that's never affected by cable stretch or contamination. Cable routing is also simpler and cleaner, and, perhaps most importantly, setup is easier due to Shimano's newest generation of its E-Tube electronics system. So, put down the wrench. Your shifting adjustments will be made on your laptop. Finally, Shimano's automatic trimming makes adjustments on the fly, so chain-rub and dropped chains are a thing of the past, no matter how cross-chained you've become.
