Summit Short - Women's by Sombrio
Putting a foot down in a section you know you can clean is frustrating, but Sombrio's ultralight Summit Women's Short will give you a helpful boost during those techy climbs and hot trail rides. The Summit has a relaxed fit, generous 13in inseam, and ridiculously breathable Quattro Flex Lite fabric that stretches and helps you stay cool in the saddle. Sombrio also treats it with a DWR finish to repel water when those dusty summer rides turn into soggy fall shreds. It's not all about the fabric, though. Sombrio ensures that the Summit has all the features you need for long rides, like four zippered pockets, hook-and-loop waist-adjustment tabs, and laser-cut ventilation at the thighs and back to help keep you cool. Finally, the low-profile snap closure is backed up with a hook-and-loop patch so your shorts don't fly open on the descent.

Maine ocean islands provide the only nesting sites for Atlantic puffins in the United States. Eastern Egg Rock in the midcoast region, Seal Island and Matinicus Rock at the mouth of Penobscot Bay, and Machias Seal Island and Petit Manan Island off the downeast coast provide habitat for more than 4,000 puffins each summer.
