Bastion 4 Tent: 4-Person 4-Season by The North Face
Whether you're setting up a solid basecamp or heading out into truly formidable conditions, you need a proper line of defense between you and the elements. Designed with input from athletes, The North Face Bastion 4 Tent is built to tolerate the kind of weather that will make you grateful that you're safely tucked away in your Bastion back at base camp. The wizards over at The North Face were somehow able to trim some weight from the Bastion 4, but still make it stronger and more resilient to high mountain weather and mega-deep coastal snow storms. The fly and canopy are lighter thanks to a 40D nylon material. The fly features fully sealed seams and a PU coating, giving it a hydrostatic head of 1500mm. The cut-in nylon 70D nylon floor is also PU coated and has fully sealed seams, giving it a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm.The North Face integrated high-low venting into the design of this double-wall tent to offer adequate ventilation that prevents moisture from accumulating along the inner wall of the tent, while the cold-crack-tested port window lets you to check on the status of the storm from the comforts of your sleeping bag. Realizing that four people and gear can get cluttery, The North Face very wisely gave the Bastion ten interior pockets with multiple internal hanger loops to hang gear and layers from. The Bastion even is equipped with glow-in-the-dark zipper pulls for ease of use during still-dark alpine starts.

Rising above a scene rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, and alpine terrain, the Teton Range stands monument to the people who fought to protect it. These are mountains of the imagination. Mountains that led to the creation of Grand Teton National Park where you can explore over two hundred miles of trails, float the Snake River or enjoy the serenity of this remarkable place.
The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
