It hurts every time you fall on a bike, but you still see tons of people riding without padding. Why' Well, probably because plenty of pads are bulky, annoying, hot, and uncomfortable. Troy Lee Designs knows the feeling, so it designed the KG 5400 Knee Guard to be a cool, flexible, and non-slip pad that'll save you from spills without killing your pedaling flow. Over your knee, the KG 5400 combines an internal kneecap pad with low-profile Strata foam padding to protect your skin 'n' bones from shredding, while an aramid weave in exposed places helps increase abrasion resistance. The less-exposed areas of the sleeve is woven from stretch mesh, which helps you stay cool and dry, and TLD also hooked up Vent-Trak ventilation channels to increase air flow and comfort. Last of all, the inside of the KG 5400 features silicone grippers to keep it from sliding around, so you can pedal and shred the downhills without stopping to adjust every five minutes.
