Colebrook River Lake


The 700-acre lake is open seasonally for fishing and boating and has a large boat ramp available. The lake and river are stocked with trout by the State. The fall foliage season offers spectacular views from atop the dam and from vessels while boating on the reservoir. Connecticut regulations and designated seasons apply. Featured Wildlife
The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
